Cherry Stripe Hat

 Cherry Stripe Hat

I crocheted this stripey hat from the brim up.  I used a 6.0mm hook and RHSS worsted weight yarn in the color, Cherry Stripe.

I started with a chain 11 and completed 20 SC stitches.  Chain 1 and turn.  I worked all rows in the BLO (back loop only).  I completed enough rows that fit around my head.

Once achieved, I whipstiched the short ends together.  I then worked in the round, evenly placing SC stitches around the ends.  I used a pin to keep track of beginning and ending rounds.  I chained two at the start of each round and then completed a HDC stitch in each stitch around.  Once the body portion was completed (5-6 rounds), I then started working on decrease rounds until I got down to the last round of 6 stitches   I trimmed off, left a tail and weaved in and out until I closed it up.

That’s it to making this gorgeous and colorful hat.

Happy Crocheting!!!!

Spring Floral Arrangements

 Spring Floral Arrangements

Each season I change out and update my mom’s front porch with new floral arrangements for the season.  She’s easy to please and never complains about what I make.

Colorful, vibrant and beautiful artificial floral arrangements for her to enjoy throughout the spring and summer months.

Happy Crafting!!!!
