 Golden Hat

I designed this hat using the Seed Stitch to create a beautiful, textured look. The color makes it perfect for fall fashion.  I used Impeccable Yarns in Gold from Michael’s.

Golden Hat PDF Pattern Link 

Size:  Teen - Adult 

1.  To adjust size smaller, you could use a 4.0mm hook. 

2.  To adjust size larger, you could use a 5.5mm or 6.0mm hook.

Materials:

--5.0mm hook

--Impeccable yarns in Gold (or your choice of #4 worsted weight yarn)

--tapestry needle for weaving ends

--stitch marker

 

U.S. Stitch Abbreviations:

Ch:  chain

Sl st:  slip stitch

St:  stitch

SC:  single crochet

DC:  double crochet

BLO:  back loops only

MR:  magic ring

Rep:  repeat

FO:  fasten off

Seed Stitch:

1.  This stitch is very simple; it uses a repetition of SC and DC stitches in the round; for the next round, you will make sure to place a DC in the previous round's SC and a SC in the previous round's DC.

Note:  this pattern is worked in the round, so use your stitch marker to keep track of the beginning stitch of each round and move it up as you start each new round.

Directions:

1.  10 DC into MR.  (10)

2.  2 DC in each st around.  (20)

3.  2 DC in first st, 1 DC in next st.  Rep around.  (30)

4.  2 DC in first st, 1 DC in next 2 st.  Rep around.  (40)

5.  2 DC in first st, 1 DC in next 3 st.  Rep around.  (50)

6.  2 DC in first st, 1 DC in next 4 st.  Rep around.  (60)

7.  DC in first st, SC in next st.  Rep around.  (60)

8.  SC in first st, DC in next st.  Rep around.  (60)

9-18.  Rep #7 and #8.  (60)

19.  BLO.  SC around.  (60)

20.  In both loops, SC around.  (60)

21.  Loosely sl st around.  FO and weave ends.  (60)

Eternal Bliss Blanket

 Eternal Bliss Blanket

I made this blanket using a 30mm hook and Yarn Bee’s jumbo yarn.  I used 10 skeins of yarn.  

To make:

1.  Ch 25.  HDC in second ch from hook and across.  Ch 1 and turn. (24)

2.  HDC across.  Ch 1 and turn.  (24)

3. I completed rows until I used all 10 skeins. (24)

My finished size:  44” x 48.”

This is a super thick, soft and heavy blanket.

Here's my first, Freddy Krueger, of five SLASHER DOLLS I have completed!!!! Freddy Krueger from “Nightmare on Elm Street.”  All of my patterns for the 5 dolls will use RHSS yarn...

The dolls measure approximately 17" tall.
