Ewok Scoodie

Ewok Scoodie

I made this super cute and easy “Ewok Scoodie” for my grandson’s Teddy Ruxpin today.

The size will also fit a newborn baby.

I used “I Love This Yarn” from Hobby Lobby and a 4.0mm hook

Fall Wreath

 Fall Wreath

I purchased everything for this project from Hobby Lobby. I wanted to make a gorgeous wreath to place over my fireplace for the fall. And, I think I achieved it.

I worked from the outside of the foam, inward.  This produced a full, vibrant floral decor that I’m very pleased to hang in my home. Following are step-by-step pics of how I achieved my finished wreath.

Baby Girl Blanket

Baby Girl Blanket

This blanket is for a baby girl. It measures 26” x 31 1/2”.  I used Yarn Bee yarn from Hobby Lobby in Fawn, Blue Stone and Rosewater to complete this project.

This blanket is perfect to use with a car seat or stroller or to just snuggle up your new baby....

I have this blanket listed in my Etsy shop if you are interested in it. Etsy://Rilla2u

This is my design and was used making a combination of HDC and SC into the same stitch, then skip a stitch and repeat.

This blanket makes a beautiful baby shower gift!!

Wall Hanging DIY Sign

 Wall Hanging...

For this wall hanging, I started with (6) small wood pallets I purchased from Dollar Tree. I hot glued them together.  I then used acrylic paints in grey, black and white to give the hanging an aged/distressed look.  I used a paintbrush for the grey and a cloth for the black and white.

I hot glued jute rope to the back for the hanger.

I found the three wood words - faith, family, love - at Wal-mart.  For the words, I painted each black.  Once dried, I used a cloth to wipe white on it.  And, last, I wiped blue onto each word.

Last, I made a little rope-shaped bow to glue in the corner and topped it off with blue flowers.

And, that’s it...

Happy July!!!!

Happy July...

I can’t believe it’s already July of 2021.  This year is flying by.  I have been busy crocheting, crafting and painting SO many new projects this year.  I really need an assistant to handle the blog side of typing up my patterns and sharing everything, but, alas, I’m a small business and it doesn’t work that way.  Plus, it’s doubtful anyone would understand my shorthand on paper, envelopes, cardboard boxes, etc. I have patterns written on anything and everything I can get my hands on when the idea strikes....

Today, I want to share some of my July projects....

If you would like specific details on how I made anything, then, please, feel free to comment below and I will do my best to get the directions added...
