Breezy Hanging Towel

How cute and functional is this “Hanging Towel?” The pattern worked up rather quickly, using a 5.0mm hook and Peaches & Creme Cotton yarn in the color, Sea Breeze.

I added a brown bear button that I had in my stash to add to the cuteness of this project.  

Size:

Unbuttoned - 10” x 23”

Buttoned - 10” x 19”

Materials:

-5.0mm hook

-Cotton yarn (color of choice); 100 - 160yds

-Button of choice

-Tapestry needle for weaving ends

U.S. Stitch Abbreviations:

Ch:  chain

St:  stitch

Sl st:  slip stitch

SC:  single crochet 

HDC:  half double crochet 

SC2tog: single crochet 2 stitches together (decrease)

HDC2tog:  half double crochet 2 stitches together (decrease)

FO:  fasten off
