Camo Booties (3 months - 6 months)

Here's a cute and simple pair of Camo Booties to match my Camo Hat...

Camo Booties Pattern (3 months - 6 months)

Size:  3 months - 6 months

Materials:
--4.5mm hook
--#4 worsted weight yarn in Camo
--tapestry needle for weaving

U.S. Stitch Abbreviations:
Ch:  chain
Sl st:  slip stitch
St:  stitch(es)
SC:  single crochet
HDC:  half double crochet
Rep:  repeat
Sk:  skip
FO:  fasten off

Special Stitch:
1.  Picot Stitch:  Ch3 and sl st into the first ch.

Directions:
1.  Ch27.  HDC in 2nd ch from hook and across.  Ch1 and turn.  (26)

2.  1 HDC in each st across.  Ch1 and turn.  (26)
3-7.  Rep #2.  At the end of Row 7, FO and weave ends.  (26)
7.  Sk 5 st and join yarn in the 6th st with a Ch1.  HDC into same st as Ch1 and into the next 15 st.  Ch1 and turn.  (16)
8-11.  1 HDC in each st across.  Ch1 and turn.  (16)
12.  *SC in first st, sl st into next st, picot stitch,* rep across, ending with a sl st in the last stitch.  FO and weave ends.

Assembly:
1.  Fold horizontally with right sides facing.
2.  With yarn, whipstitch across the bottom, up the side and across the first 5 skipped st.  Secure by weaving ends.
3.  Turn right side out and turn Rows 8-12 down.

Pompom (optional):
1.  Wrap yarn 20 - 25 times around 2 fingers.
2.  Carefully remove yarn from fingers and tie securely in a double knot in the center.  Attach to top of bootie.
