Small Bumblebee Kawaii

 Small Bumblebee Kawaii

I’m finally getting around to add this pattern. When I went through my notes, I realized I didn’t write a pattern so I had to work this up again.

For the pattern, I decided to do it in pink and black since October is “Breast Cancer Awareness” month.

First off, I used a 3.0 mm hook. This resulted in my bee being approximately 5” tall. The original bee is 4” long which means I would’ve used a 2.5mm hook.

Okay, let’s get started on this…

Materials:
—2.5mm hook for the smaller bee
—3.0mm hook for the larger bee
—worsted weight yarn in yellow, black and white
—small piece of black floss for the mouth
—set of 6 or 8 mm black plastic eyes
—Polyfil
—tapestry needle

U.S. Stitch Abbreviations:
Ch:  chain
St:  stitch(es)
Sl st:  slip stitch
SC:  single crochet
SC2tog:  single crochet 2 stitches together (decrease)
Rep:  repeat
MR:  magic ring
FO:  fasten off

Note:  the pattern is worked in the round unless otherwise noted; use a stitch marker to keep track of the beginning of each new round.
