Canning/preserving fresh fruits and veggies from the garden is such a money-saver and a way to control what preservatives gets added.  Canning is especially ideal for sufferers of Interstitial Cystitis, whose bladder is sensitive to just about all food (like me!!!)...

There's tons of canning recipes on the Internet but my primary source is:  Ball Complete Book of Home Preserving.  This book is such a wonderful, must-have resource for learning the proper way of canning, when it's okay to use water bath process or pressure canning.

I hope my pics will inspire someone to give canning a try and not to dismiss it as something of old, the past.  Things of old are still okay to use today...Happy Canning!!!
