First, Laurel wanted a costume...so I had to get my sewing machine out and go to work in making her a tunic and all the pieces to go with her costume.
May The Force Be With You...
I had to make my grandson, Luke Sampson, a Star Wars themed crochet blanket...
...and a super cute wreath that will hang in his nursery...
...and what's a baby shower without R2D2...
...or a little Yoda (aka. Gabriel)...lol
The wreath for the front door was super cute...
Here is a pic of my two sons and daughters-in-law...And, of course, there had to be fun moments...
....and decorations...
I have a lot more pics but the above pics were the ones I had readily available. Even with a VERY limited knowledge of Star Wars I was still able to make table decor, balloon creations, a diaper cake and an all-around, well-themed party decor items. So, I hope this post will encourage you not to limit your thinking or abilities. With a little gumption, you can create a fun-themed baby shower for the special lady in your life....Laurel thoroughly enjoyed herself...and making mommy-to-be happy is what it's all about. Blessings....
