My hubby is a big Buffalo Bills fan.  So, with yesterday being his birthday, I set out to make him a crocheted hat, sporting his favorite team's logo.

I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn in 3 colors and a 4mm hook.  The hat was made following the simple design of increase rounds until the diameter is achieved and then completing rounds until the length is achieved.  I made this using HDC stitch.  The last four rounds was done:  3 rounds of FPDC & BPDC and the final round of SC st.

The logo was achieved with sc st and inc/dec sts at beginning/ending rounds to create the shape I wanted.  I then sc around the logo in white yarn and used a tapestry needle to attach to the hat.
