Fall Wreath
Fall Wreath Free Pattern
Difficulty Level: Easy
Materials:
--10mm hook for wreath cover
--8mm hook for bow
--Bernat Softee Chunky yarn (#6) in Pumpkin, Soft Taupe and Natural
--Fall-themed Softies
--12" wreath (I used a wicker wreath from Dollar Tree; you can use any 12" wreath form)
--tapestry needle for weaving
Stitch Abbreviations:
Ch: chain
Sl st: slip stitch
St: stitch(es)
SC: single crochet
HDC: half double crochet
SC2tog: single crochet 2 stitches together
SC3tog: single crochet 3 stitches together
FO: fasten off
Directions:
Wreath Cover:
1. With Pumpkin yarn, Ch11. HDC in 2nd ch from hook and across. Ch1 and turn. (10)
2-4. 1 HDC in each st across. Ch1 and turn. (10)
At the end of Row 4, FO Pumpkin yarn and join Natural yarn.
5-6. With Natural yarn, 1 HDC in each st across. Ch1 and turn. (10)
At the end of Row 6, FO Natural yarn and join Soft Taupe yarn.
7-10. With Soft Taupe yarn, 1 HDC in each st across. Ch1 and turn. (10)
Repeat above pattern for a total of 4 times. FO and leave a long tail for attaching around your wreath.

Bow:
(The bow is made in 4 pieces - bow, the center piece and 2 ribbons)
1. With 8mm hook and Natural yarn, Ch9. SC in 2nd ch from hook and across. Ch1 and turn. (8)
2-30. 1 SC in each st across. Ch1 and turn. (8)
At the end of Row 30, FO Natural yarn and join Pumpkin yarn. Work 1 SC in each st around. FO and weave ends.
Centerpiece:
1. With 8mm hook and Pumpkin yarn, Ch4. SC in 2nd ch from hook and across. Ch1 and turn. (3)
2-15. SC in each st across. Ch1 and turn.
At the end of Row 15, FO, leaving a long tail for attaching.
Ribbon (make 2):
1. With 8mm hook and Natural yarn, Ch6. SC in 2nd ch from hook and across. Ch1 and turn. (5)
2-15. SC in each st across. Ch1 and turn. (5)
16. SC2tog, SC in next st, SC2tog. Ch1 and turn. (3)
17. SC3tog. FO and leave a long enough tail for attaching.
Assembly:
1. I whipstitched Row 1 to Row 30 of the bow.
2. Then, I wrapped the centerpiece around the center of the bow (with the whipstitched part of the bow in the back, center) and whipstitched it.
3. Last, I whipstitched a ribbon to each side of the bow on the backside.
4. I used a safety pin and placed mine at the center top of the wreath.
