Minnie Mouse C2C Baby Blanket

Minnie Mouse is such a classic Disney character that little girls just love.  For this blanket I used a clip art picture of Minnie and the program Excel to pixelate Minnie's face into a 40 x 40 graph.  This baby blanket did not take too long to make since there isn't a lot of color changes.  This was made using C2C method of Crocheting with HDC stitches.

Minnie Mouse C2C Baby Blanket

The pixel graph is 40 x 40:

Yarn Colors:
--Pink
--Black
--Red
--White
--Dark Ivory

Hook Size:  6.0mm

Size:  32" x 32"

Directions:
Blanket
1.  Complete blanket portion using the pixel graph and C2C method.

Border:
1.  With pink yarn single crochet around, placing 3 single crochet stitches in each corner.  Slip stitch join and switch to white yarn.
2-4.  With white yarn, half double crochet in each stitch around, placing 3 half double crochet stitches in each corner.  Slip stitch join.  At the end of Round 4, switch to black yarn.
5-6.  With black yarn, half double crochet in each stitch around, placing 3 half double crochet stitches in each corner.  Slip stitch join.  At the end of Round 6, fasten off and weave ends.

If you want to make this blanket bigger, then use double crochet stitches instead of half double crochet stitches throughout graph pattern and border.

Happy Crocheting...
