Crochet Women's Fingerless Gloves -- FREE PATTERN

--5mm hook
--#4 worsted weight yarn - silver & white
--tapestry needle

1.  With white yarn, chain 11.  Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook & across.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (10)
2-22.  Working in Back Loops Only, single crochet across.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (10)

-- At the end of Row 22, slip stitch the two short ends together.  Fasten off.  Weave white tail. --

The glove itself will be worked in rounds.
1.  Join silver yarn to any stitch and chain 1.  Single crochet in same stitch as chain 1.  There are 22 rows which make 22 stitches, however, I added 4 increase stitches evenly to make my base row 26 stitches.  Slip stitch to join to first stitch and chain 1.
2.  Into the first stitch (same as chain 1), add 1 single crochet (SC) and 1 half double crochet (HDC) stitch, skip the next stitch, *then 1 SC and 1 HDC in the next stitch, skip a stitch...*repeat around.  Slip stitch to join to first stitch and chain 1.
3-12:  repeat round 2.
13.  Create thumbhole.  Start round as #2.  Complete 5 groups of SC & HDC stitches, then chain 4 and skip 3 stitches.  Then continue round with SC & HDC into the next stitch, then skip a stitch.  Continue across.
14.  Repeat round #2 and add a SC & HDC into the chain 3 space.  At the end of the round, join white yarn and chain 1.
15.  With white yarn, single crochet around.  (This would also look good in single crochet reverse - crab stitch...). Fasten off.  Weave ends.
