I started with a magic ring of 6 single crochet and worked increase rows until I was at 42 stitches. I then completed 10-12 rows of 42 stitches. Mine may be a little big, but that's how I wanted it. I used 5mm hook and #4 worsted weight yarn.

Crochet Coin Purse...
Finally, I settled down last night and today to make myself something I've been wanting -- and that's a coin/change purse. I used "sewing buttons" I had on hand to embellish it. Loving the way it turned out. This was my first time using a clasp and wasn't as intimidating as I had anticipated.
