Crochet Hat & Bib...NB - 3 months - Camo

Camo hat and bib crocheted for my nephew, due to arrive in 10 weeks.  I crocheted it in size newborn - 3months.

Newborn - 3 months Camo Hat & Bib 

Materials:
--4.5mm hook
--sport weight yarn
--tapestry needle
--1/2" button

HDC:  half double crochet
FPDC:  front post double crochet
BPDC:  back post double crochet

Hat:
1.  Magic ring with 10 HDC.  (10)
2.  2 HDC per stitch.  (20)
3.  2 HDC, 1 HDC around.  (30)
4.  2 HDC, 1 HDC, 1 HDC around.  (40)
5.  2 HDC, 1 HDC, 1 HDC, 1 HDC around.  (50)
6.  2 HDC, 1 HDC, 1 HDC, 1 HDC, 1 HDC around.  (60)
7.  2 HDC, 1 HDC, 1 HDC, 1 HDC, 1 HDC, 1 HDC around.  (70)
8-16.  1 HDC in each stitch around.  (70)
17-18:  Alternate between FPDC & BPDC stitches around.  (35 FPDC & 35 BPDC)

Fasten off and weave ends.

Bib:
1.  Chain 24.  HDC in 2nd chain from hook and across.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (23)
2.  HDC decrease, 19 HDC, then HDC decrease last 2 stitches.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (21)
3-13.  1 HDC across.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (21)
Straps:
14.  HDC in the first 7 stitches.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (7)
15.  HDC decrease, HDC in remaining 5 stitches.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (6)
16.  1 HDC in each stitch across.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (6)
17.  HDC decrease, HDC in next 3 stitches, HDC decrease last 2 stitches.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (5)
18.  1 HDC in each stitch across.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (5)
19.  HDC decrease, HDC in next 2 stitches, HDC decrease last 2 stitches.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (4)
20.  1 HDC in each stitch across.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (4)
21.  HDC decrease, HDC in next 2 stitches.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (3)
22-29.  1 HDC in each stitch across.  Chain 1.  Turn.  (3)

At the end of Row 29, fasten off and sew on a 1/2" button.

Repeat strap on other side.  After the last row is completed, chain 3 and slip stitch to the last stitch.  Then add 4 single crochet stitches in the chain. And, continue to single crochet around the bib.  At the bottom corners, I added 3 single crochet into the corner stitch on each side.
