Harry Potter Apron - Toddler - Adult Sized

With the evenings becoming a little cooler here in North Carolina, I've been focusing my attention on Fall projects.  And, here is one that would be great for everyday use in the kitchen, as well as, make a great Halloween costume - it's my Harry Potter Apron.

I've spent days working on this pattern to make it available in multiple sizes - from 2T through Adult size.  This pattern has not been tested.  If you have any questions on it, please feel free to email me or comment below and I will respond.  I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn for this project.

  1. I made this in Hufflepuff colours for my niece. I'm very pleased with it even though I hate hand-sewing, lol! I would post a picture, but I don't know how.

    2. I'm new to making things with letters. How did you do this with the H in the middle?

    3. It looks like Barb may have made the H using tapestry crochet. It’s a really easy technique. Determine how many horizontal and vertical stitches and rows you’re going to make for the pocket. I will make a picture on paper. Then, I figure out how to make the letter even and then when you make, the pocket, use a second color for the stitches of the letter. I hope this helps.
