Patriotic Cozy....

The 3R's are a little different today than what it stood for in my school days.  It's - Recycle, Reuse, Repurpose!!!!  So, I set out to rid myself of one of the many large infant powder milk baby containers from storage into something usable and functional.  Multiple ususes.

Patriotic Cozy...

16-20.  With blue yarn, repeat #8. At the end of Round 20, FO, leaving a long tail.

Stars:
I used white yarn and tapestry needle, to make small and large star-like appliqués.  I placed each star in the blue section.  I just simply made  x's sporadically around.

Elastic Band:
I measured around the container and cut the elastic.  I used the tapestry needle to weave in and out by attaching the last row to row 19.  As I weaved, I worked my elastic into it.  Once around, I joined the flat ends together, pulled and sewed the elastic ends together.  Then closed up what was left.

That's it!!!
Happy Crocheting!!!
