Fox Gift Card Holder....

How cute is this Fox Gift Card Holder?  I was thinking of my daddy-in-law with Father's Day coming up and he doesn't play golf (i.e...the Woodland Animals Golf Club Covers I made a few days ago) -- so I thought, well, I will make my Woodland Animals into Gift Card Holders...lol!!!

So, here's my Fox Gift Card Holder....

Ears (make 2):

4.  SC in each st across.  FO.  (3)
5.  Join white yarn in any st and Ch1.  SC in each st around ear.  Slip stitch to first st and FO.  Leave a long enough tail for attaching.

Sew a black button to the tip of the nose.  Or, you can make a nose with black yarn (3 SC into a magic ring.  Join and FO.).  (See pic for nose placement).

Before joining front and back together on the sides and bottom (I whipstitched mine together), attach nose, eyes and ears to the front cover.  (See pic for placement).

This would be super cute in the Wolf or the Owl of my Woodland Animal trio -- just change colors....

And, here's a pic of the trio...

The pattern for the Owl is included in a separate post...so check it out!!!!

For the Wolf, omit black yarn and just use gray and white

And, that's it!!!  A super cute holder for gift cards....

Happy Crocheting!!!

  3. Hi, Rilla!
There must be a way to adapt this lovely pattern into a French bulldog! My son has a white one, would love to see your interpretation of that!
    God bless,
    Jen
